@Campingal I honestly have no idea, this place doesn't really seem Democratic with how peaceful it is compared to some dem towns there's only been one protest that lasted maybe 4 hours at best and only had maybe 30ish people mostly out of towners and most of what I see is Republican opinions from our residents and our gun control laws here aren't actually that bad. I used to work over at Rural King and so I learned a little from the gun barn guys. I don't think this place will be democratic for long... but, this could be just from my perspective of living here and there could be more democratics here than I know. We have a college and a university here in town so there's a lot of college kids here given the size of our town. That being said commissioners change every four years, as for our mayor I have no idea about his terms.

The college population though is mostly liberal from what I can tell but, in my experiences it's like 60% 40%. All the older folks though are Republican Conservatives, I've been working in Geriatric facilities for a few years now and I've never met a resident or a residents family who was a liberal at least.

@Campingal I know about the empty buildings and a lot of my friends live in the low income area and I used to live in the small home area, I'm not too far away from it now though I'm out by by the Reservoir now. As for the Whittenberg Political Professors... I used to work with a guy who was a Political major.... he wanted to become a politician and he was a independent he was pro choice and pro gun along with some other stuff. I've heard about the professor's from him although not much. And as for Mundy's I've never been although I drive past it all the time to go my friend's house who lives near Clark State.

I've mainly been paying attention to the stuff going on countrywide especially with all the insanity going on... definitely time to take a closer look on the home front. And the professors over at Clark State don't really get like that though, or at least not to my knowledge I'm a associate transfer bio med student, we dont really talk about politics in my classes. So it could just be something I haven't been exposed to given my major. I'm hoping that's not the case though.

I'm no expert but look at how much it took for them to get you to feel concerned about Trump reelection.
They say all the polls have Trump down to Biden, by whatever margins. But those polls also don't have Biden getting anymore than 50% of the vote. And thats with a 70/30 Democrat/republican sample size. If Biden was up around 60-65% maybe that would be a serious red flag.
Obviously anything can happen, but there's still alot of time, but Biden makes major blunders speaking from the basement, Biden i assume will have 3 debates with Trump.

"Growing a base" for Trump is not the only raison d'être for Parler.
Not sure Twitter grows his base either, but it is the only way to get his message unfiltered to the people.
Many people who are kicked off of Twitter appear here.
It would be good for Trump to show support for a platform that values free speech.
Another thing is that besides the morale boosting and laughter, people share a lot of valuable information and resources.
We all have family and friends whose heads have been shrunk in the stew of fake news propaganda.

@Trudimunoz Hey Trudi. The menu tab on top left will bring drop down menu. Select profile. Then the little gear at top right is what you sect to edit. May take you several attempts touching the profile pic to get it to open photos/files to select image. Then you have to crop it and select save to get it to add. Hope that helps.

I'm not against using @parler. However I have some opinions.
1) I think it is a mistake you must be logged in to really see and engage with posts. Twitter does well because of the ultimate "sharing" it allows.
2) The app and website could use a real UIX designer. It feels a little sloppy. Twitter is clean.
3) You should spend $ on getting the media on Parler, not users. Parler will not replace Twitter until you incentive media to get on here. This is great for discussions, but if you want world leaders and high profile leaders you need media.
4) You should connect with the Twitter API and allow dual posting. Create a transition period. Understanding that Twitter is still needed for many. But as Twitter does it games, people can start seeing Parler messages.
5) Branding is important. Things like "tweet this", etc. Parler hasn't really designed a brand that becomes contagious. Being fair and balanced isn't enough, be cool as well.
