I may not have a boatload of friends but I do want you all to know I think you're pretty neat.
In some states, your kids can go to the movie theater.
But they can’t go to school.
As long as they move seats every 14 minutes or so it should be OK.
1 Samuel 8:17 English Standard Version
He will take the tenth of your flocks, and you shall be his slaves.
Genesis 47:23-24 English Standard Version
23 Then Joseph said to the people, “Behold, I have this day bought you and your land for Pharaoh. Now here is seed for you, and you shall sow the land. 24 And at the harvests you shall give a fifth to Pharaoh, and four fifths shall be your own, as seed for the field and as food for yourselves and your households, and as food for your little ones.”
We keep hearing about how we should follow the science. The claim is tired by now. We know what’s really happening. The lockdown lobby ignores whatever contradicts their narrative, preferring unverified anecdotes over an actual scientific study of 10 million residents in what was the world’s first major hotspot for the disease we are trying to manage. You would expect this study to be massive international news. So far as I can tell, it is being ignored.

Since the election, Parler has rocketed up in memberships. I don't have the official data, but my list of people who I actually know or who I would like to know in real life has increased exponentially. It's funny how free speech attracts people while Twitter/Facebook remain a honey hole for those who would silence all dialog.
It does have me wondering where the tipping point is though. If I am friends with someone who is crossposting to multiple places, which is frequently what I do, at what point is it time to unfollow them on the restrictive networks? Does this require a DM to let them know that we're still cool?
Some other like minded people did get frustrated with Parler a day after the election. They said it was buggy. As someone who has a website, I understand that sudden mass usage can create hiccups. And I expect Parler to just keep on getting better and better.
This is how you start fighting back against lockdown tyranny.
Romans 1:21 ESV
For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened.
As of right now, I don't believe our governor in Iowa has placed a cap on how many people can attend Thanksgiving IN OUR PRIVATE HOMES. If she does, I'll be sending out invites to make darn sure we are defying her.
Where is the CEO of the Dominion company that usurped the will of the American people? Why hasn't he/she/zey defended their product? Are they staying in the basement? Who told them that is a winning strategy?
Where have we seen this before...
I may have perfected the sandwich. I used Keto white bread from Costco, which is the absolute best low carb bread I've ever had. A couple slices of sharp cheddar and some beer sauerkraut from Aldi and thinly sliced Lebanon baloney from a local Amish store. Fried with a thin layer of mayo on the outside.
Every pandemic ever has had two events that ended them. One is herd immunity. The other is citizen defiance. Both have to happen, not just one.
Here's one for all your science denying friends. I expect this to be censored by the #Twistapo momentarily, but free speech can be found at Parler.
This is the way. The way to enjoy your Thanksgiving meal with your family. As many of them as you can fit into your home.
Jason Whitlock keeps right on swinging. Good writing, like all good art, makes you ponder things at a deeper level. Ultimately it makes you a better person, which is not often accomplished without some discomfort.
