I realize that there are limitations to what Trump can do regarding Silicon Valley and tech censorship, but it seems to me that "monitoring the situation" doesn't seem like it was the most effective course of action.

No. Jared Kushner has too much influence over the presidents decisions and too great of control of what information gets to the president. Mark Meadows has a history of America First positions, but it is unclear if he could overcome Kushners nepotistic connection to Trump. On top of this, Trump is more interested in a personality cult than he is to advancing an America First agenda. He is also a boomer frozen into a boomer presuppositions regarding race and white conciousness. Norpoth’s model which gave Trump a 91% chance of winning has only incorrectly predicted two presidental elections since 1912. We’ll wait and see what happens, but don’t expect much if Trump wins reelection so long as Kushner and Ivanka are in the white house. Our political recourse will have to come from somewhere else.

He needs to bring Bannon back and step outside of the swamp for candidates. A big problem that America First types haven't recognized is that there are few nationalists/populists that can fill the slots because the system has been overrun with those who wish to maintain the status quo. He has to get creative

As of this moment, almost seems certain Trump will lose in November unless things start changing fast.

Very low probability. White voters, especially white independents, elected him because they thought he was different, and he did not nothing for them. They won't be fooled again.

His only chance is if he (1) goes full nationalist like he did in '16 to fool voters, but (2) backs it up with some decisive action to overcome the perception that he's all talk and his tough guy nationalism is just an act (created by Art Finkelstein to gin up the white vote).

He's running out of time and playing defense against the Democrats' pandemic and antiwhite-radical campaigns.

I am definitely worried. There are too many powerful forces arrayed against Trump to assume he will make it through their obstacle course a second time around. Though if anyone could do it, it is him.

1.Trump may still win based on Norpith’s. Granted, this model released back in March before Corona Virus had taken effect, and the Black Lives Matter aquiesence by GOP leaders.
