Wrong. We are NOT operating an illegitimate government. Section 2 only takes away voting rights if someone has been convicted of a crime. That is still the case, nothing has changed. Once those involved have been convicted, they can't vote. If a demoncrat D.A. refuses to try for a conviction, the alleged criminal can still vote. For Section 3, someone in Congress has to actually remove those involved in rebellion, or at least make a motion. For Section 4, the Feds are not obligated to pay any costs of the rebellion, or slave reparations.
