My stepson is gay and really has a fun time during this month. I'd agree that veterans should have more than a day as well. There are vets right now, living in local VAs, with spinal injuries or just in their final years, where their bodies have given out, but are still sharp mentally, and many with mental illness, just living with little or no family support. They are fun guys and could use some organized events in their facilities by local citizens in the community, like Bingo, socials, or card games, etc.
