1. Voting needs to be done in person.
1a. Election Day should be a national holiday...no one works, just like Christmas.
1b. Early voting comprises only the WEEKEND prior to Election Day...not the week prior, not the month prior.
1c. To vote for Federal offices, you must present a PASSPORT...the only document that clearly established CITIZENSHIP. If states want to let non-citizens vote for the local school board, or their state rep, that’s their decision, but voting for Federal offices is reserved to citizens only (it’s a little thing I like to call the Constitution).
1d. After voting in person, the index finger of your dominant hand gets dipped in INK...not likely to wash off for a few days (so we know you’ve voted already...let’s see your cuticles).

If you will be unable/unwilling to vote in person, you must request your ballot (which bears a watermark and a unique identifying number) no later than THREE MONTHS prior to the election, and must send in your PASSPORT to receive it. 2a.
