@Deancain real talk Hollywood is dying and becoming more irrelevant and IMO it has a lot to do with how incestuous and rotted the entertainment community has become. The stories and storytelling has dried up, with rare exceptions, and/or new IPs and stories never see the light of day because of how much upper management relies on milking once profitable IPs to the last drop. The whole movie making and storytelling industry needs an overhaul and fresh ideas in addition to private funding to bring it about. The internet is that vehicle to bypass union fees/costs, ridiculous regulations, and creative stifling board meetings that are more focused on checking every box first instead of telling and creating a great story. There’s got to be a new path to be pioneered because Hollywood has misused the hardworking talent that gets no recognition and is eat up with politics and optics that get in the way of new stories/fresh ideas.

To see the truth look at what happened in Siapan & Okinawa where entire Japanese families jumped to their deaths because they were more afraid of what the American "barbarians" would do to them than death. Their own government lead to their deaths at their own hands by telling them that American GIs would rape all of the women, and brutally murder the men. When in fact the GIs tried to stop them from killing them selves, and actually sent GIs who spoke Japanese in to talk them out of it. Had the US not dropped the 2 Atomic Bombs, the Allied invasion force was expecting a million allied casualties alone. The allied invasion force would have had to kill in direct conbat, or seen commit suicide a bare minimum of 50% of the Japanese population.

I was under the impression it was nearly over and even if the first being dropped shortened the war, the second was dropped too soon and they should have been given more time to respond but that is a judgement call made at the time that looks different with hindsight. I'm not complaining about those decisions mind you, just trying to look critically at them. Thanks again for commenting.

1. War is literally hell on earth. There is no justice in it only death & dispare.
2. War should be fought in such a way that it is literally hell on earth, no mercy for your foes, only death & dispare. That way no one in their right mind would start one because of the death & dispare that it causes. This is also called "Peace through superior fire power", or preparing for war in the hopes that peace follows.
