No matter where you are or what's going on in your life right now-- God in Christ knows, He sees, He cares, and He is interceding for you right now.

Everything in our lives is theological from our private thoughts to our private and public speech, our marriage, ministry, and our worship. All of life is theological and all of life is before the face of God.

"To be much like Christ, be much with Christ."-Charles Spurgeon

"God is our portion, Christ our companion, the Spirit our Comforter, Earth our lodge, and Heaven is our home." -Charles Spurgeon

I'm continuing my 1 Timothy series on the Warriors of Grace show today looking at 1 Timothy 1:17 and the nature of worship, the kingdom of God and the kingdom of Christ, and the character and attributes of God.

"We shall never be clothed with the righteousness of Christ except we first know assuredly that we have no righteousness of our own." -John Calvin

"My faith rests not in what I am, or shall be, or feel, or know, but in what Christ is, in what he has done, and in what he is doing for me." -Charles Spurgeon

"From the beginning of my Reformation I have asked God to send me neither dreams, nor visions, nor angels, but to give me the right understanding of His Word, the Holy Scriptures; for as long as I have God's Word, I know that I am walking in His way and that I shall not fall into any error or delusion." -Martin Luther

"If you wish to know God, you must know his Word. If you wish to perceive His power, you must see how He works by his Word. If you wish to know His purpose before it comes to pass, you can only discover it by His Word." -Charles Spurgeon

"To live coram Deo is to live one’s entire life in the presence of God, under the authority of God, to the glory of God." -R. C. Sproul

"Every day we need our gaze redirected from ourselves to God." -Sinclair B. Ferguson

"You don’t know who you are until you know God and you don’t know how to live until you've settled the question of how to die." -Alistair Begg

There's a lot about being in ministry that is really awesome. In my own ministry role, I have the privilege of writing many articles, now books, interviewing amazing guests on my podcast, recording audio, and video content, being interviewed, and doing pulpit supply. What do you don't see, though, is behind the scenes, and that is this:

The many hours in prayer, in the study of the Word, and in good books. You don't see the many tears shed over people struggling or abandoning the faith. You don't see the struggle with two parents with memory issues and the hurt and pain it causes me. You don't see the taxing pressure of people who hold you in high regard and who look up to you.

It's easy to see what we want on social media. It's harder to see the person as a person. It's easy to judge behind a keyboard. But never forget that person behind the keyboard is a person made in the image and likeness of God. We need fewer armchair judgments on one another and more coming alongside one anoth

"Do not glory in your own faith, your own feelings, your own knowledge, or your own diligence. Glory in nothing but Christ." -J.C. Ryle

I'm continuing my series through Revelation today at Servants of Grace looking at Revelation 21:22-27 and The City Without a Temple.
