Happy Easter everyone!
Its pretty clear to me on my feed that the majority of Parler users fully understand the historical & religious significance of today. Its important that events such as these still be recognized as such due to over commercialization -- Just as Christmas is more than just some jolly red fat guy giving presents.
This is less the case in Japan (as shown in the second image) - regardless of your own interpretation of the meaning of life and religious views, I hope that you find some reason for joy in today.

We have worked the bugs out of the back end of our appeals process. If you have received any notice of violation or filtered content, it is currently being addressed. While the Tech Team continues to work on the user-initiated appeals feature, everything is being automatically appealed for you. It will take a bit of time for the judges to move through the queue. This process also helps better train the AI.
We just want to say how much we appreciate you all. We know it’s been a bumpy road these past few weeks. Our teams have been “all hands on deck” and that won’t change. We love our Parler family and are committed to bringing you the best social media platform where you can speak freely.

We've rolled out a fix for the upvote/downvote notifications not taking you to the right place. This should now work properly for all future parleys and comments. If you have any issues, please tag @parlersupport in your comment. Thanks so much for your patience!

Parler’s goal, as it always has been, is to provide an unbiased platform where people can engage in civil discourse without fear of ideological censorship.
As Parler is coming back online we have implemented an AI to assist us with identifying incitement & threats of lawless action, which have and never will be allowed on Parler. With this new system in place we are asking for the community’s assistance to help us strengthen the process.
If you believe that something you have posted is incorrectly flagged by the AI as a violation, please submit an appeal to the Parler Community Jury by clicking on the appeal button on the violation report. You can find your violation reports under the moderation tab in the main menu (currently only accessible via web browser). The Community Jury will review the content to ensure the proper application of our Community Guidelines.
Thank you for your support & working with us to ensure we keep Parler the Freedom of Speech Platform it has always been!
Today, we'll dive into recent changes to our Guidelines enforcement process. Note that this post isn’t about first amendment rights, etc., but to help you better understand what's happening. Key privacy note: the AI does not receive context ABOUT your content, just the content itself.
Trolling filter – This flags attacks on a “what” about a person, rather than “at” a person’s argument.
NSFW filter – applies to images only, not text.
The final AI category—perhaps the most controversial—is incitement.
The original settings (7pts/incitement + autoban) were too aggressive, especially given that we’re working out bugs in the system and are providing feedback so the AI will make fewer errors.
We've disabled auto-ban, including pointing, and it now auto-files appeals to the jury. Content flagged as incitement is removed pending appeal, but pointing occurs only after appeals are complete. Existing AI-assigned points have been removed. Questions? QA/Support are here to help!
Yes, I'm alive, just busy! 🐰 Still trying to swap where I live, now that I have employment again. I comment every day on Parler posts I see.
Wanted to finally share a comparison between my original account (left) and my new one (right) for TERA! I had lost access to my original account over 7 years ago over saying "Bunny" one too many times in the global chat channels. 🤣
The company that hosted TERA for North America originally shut down late last year, which was amusing to me. (Maybe because they insisted that "Black Lives Matter"? Go woke, go broke, heh.) When they switched publishers, banned accounts such as mine were possible to reinstate.
I did what I could to try and replicate my original appearance, but the original armor isn't available anymore. Some of the new options (like repositioning "hats"), carrot cosmetic, would be nice for my OG account.

Hello from #texasfreeze territory!
I'd like to address some misunderstandings about how we use AI at Parler. (NOTE: our guidelines haven't changed.)
We use AI for:
1. threats/incitement, which have always been a violation of our guidelines and are not protected by the First Amendment.
2. NSFW which, since we've allowed it, has been behind a filter, and has always been treated as a violation only if not placed there.
3. "trolling" which, while protected by #1A, is something that many users have requested the ability to filter from their feeds. It is NOT a guidelines violation.
As always, you can moderate your own feed via the "moderation/settings" menu--that includes the removal of one or both of the above filters.
Also, please appeal any errors you encounter in identifying this content, to help us improve. Read more here:
Parler being back is certainly going to be one of the best gifts for everyone this year! I know I have several goals in mind this year, and I hope that I can find some time for my own art once more.
With #Parler being a clean slate, its also time to try and add back to the #anime hashtag! Making a little contribution with this image of #Pekora
I'm curious if we still have the media tab or if we'll see it again soon...

Welcome back, one and all!
We're in for a little bit of a bumpy ride for the next day or two, there's been a ton of backend work we've completed over the last couple of weeks, and at the moment, we're waiting on parts of the internet's underlying architecture (DNS) to finish realizing we're back.
This is why you, or your friends might be having issues getting online in some places and not others. We're also still backfilling some missing profile pictures and the like, but we'll be keeping a tight eye on everything to ensure a smooth come-online.
Thank you everyone for your patience!
Sweet, we're back!
